Jennifer Holland is a founder and our managing partner here at Femme & Fierce... and she is the type of woman who cares deeply about everything she does. I've been sorting screws since I was 5.
My father is a builder, inspector, teacher, and bonafide lover of all things that make for a functional and enjoyable home. My mother is a veteran, prayer warrior, and peace channeling homemaker that made even our hardest circumstances absolutely beautiful. Together with humble beginnings, they shaped my perspective on the value of safe and attractive homes in a society. They taught me to see gorgeous glimmers in every home environment and showed me how to live well in any space. I believe that peaceful homes change lives and any building can be made better - at any budget.
From tile stores to plumbing shops, design firms to carpet centers - my education came on the job. I began my work experience while still a teenager, expanding on all my parents taught me and providing the opportunity to lead a whole home renovation at just 21. That experience convinced me this was my calling and so I opened my first business and went all in on learning everything possible to help low-income people, like me, live in the best homes responsibly possible for their unique situation. As a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, Realities for Children, The Family Center, and other Northern Colorado organizations, I was able to experience serving countless local families through fundraising, education, and gifted services. This boots on the ground education combined with a passion for affordable home design led me to take on larger and larger projects and provided many opportunities to grow. Now, 22 years later, my resume reflects projects from $150-$1.5 million and beyond.
When COVID hit in 2020 I packed up my family and moved from Northern Colorado to East Nashville, TN where, together with my mentor and dear friend, I opened Femme & Fierce, LLC. We found the perfect cottage on Ardee Avenue and started our first renovation. One project led to another and I now focus on advocating for homeowners, renters, buyers, sellers and lovers of all things home! Balancing the look with the books is my specialty, but we have the luxury vendors and subcontractors required to provide full design, build, staging, and real estate services for homes in any price point.

I've contracted with Jennifer on two different projects. I'd highly recommend her. She responds timely and had great ideas that were outside the box. She did an amazing job designing a concept for my fixnflip. I ended up using her floor plan sketch as a listing picture and just reselling, so we didn't end up doing the work ourselves but the sketch definitely helped the property sell. The other project she suggested a partial demo of a wall that created an eat at bar space and opened up the entire living area. A beautiful selection of lighting finished off the kitchen remodel that showcased some added features and created a cohesive look.

For in person visits and site work, we are readily available in the Nashville Metro area. We also have team members in Hawaii and Northern Colorado that can facilitate projects in those areas. In addition, we are available for in person work in any location by special arrangement.
